Less than a month to go..

.. and I have A LOT to do. I still have all insurance stuff to think about and I have to start thinking what to take with me.

Yesterday I booked my flight to Italy to Milan. There I'm going to visit the sweetest Italian girl ever for a couple of days. After that I'm going to go to Germany to see another sweet girl. I'm so lucky with friends :) on top of the insurance I have to buy an Inter Rail ticket so that I can move easily around Europe.

I got good news from the University where I'm going to study! I got an apartment! Party! The rent is cheap and it's near the Uni. In the leaflet it's written that my place is in an old house and they say right away that it's not a luxury palace. So I'm a little bit afraid that I've tied myself to a mix of tunacan and a closet for 9 months. Well, I can always move if the place is awfull. I just hope it's enough big so that I can have friends visiting.

I'm really starting to panic about my French skills (or better to say the lack of them). I bought a book yesterday about French grammar and common problems to Finnish people when it comes to French. I really hope that this book helps me a little. There is going to be a test at the Uni about my language skills when I go there so that they can send me to the right intensive course of French. I don't want to be put in a beginners class so that I learn as much as possible.

I've arranged a place for all my guinea pigs to spend the year in and I'm really happy about that :) my dog and three guinea pigs are staying with my mom and two guinea pigs got a temporary home from my friend's place. I included the pictures of my little babie. I don't even want to think about how much I'll miss them..

The beginning

 Wednesday 13th of July 2011 - 00:41 GMT +2  - Still in Finland

So.. I decided to write my first text to this blog even though it's more than a month before I'm leaving for Europe. I'm too impatient.. I decided to have my blog in English because it would be horrible if I improved some Finnish in France.

I'm getting lazy nowadays so I decided to have my page in Blogger instead of coding my own page (looooooser). But I think during my exchange I have other - better - things to do than fighting with layouts and HTML-codes that refuse to work the way I want ;)

I have been asking my friends in Italy and Germany and before my exchange year starts in Paris I'm going to visit them! I can't wait! Now I'm saving money from my summer job to spent it all in one week in Paris.

Also today I took a new tattoo. This is VIFS - Vital information for survival
