My (second)first month in France

Sera enjoying herself at the beach
Well it's more like one month and a half but anyhow B)

I decided which university to attend in September and I've wrote them. I'm waiting for a reply but they have said earlier that I can attend their courses so I'm not worried ;) I decided to finish a degree in physics.

The family I live with is on a vacation so I'll be alone for the next 2 weeks. Time flies fast so I hope to get a lot of things done before they come back.

I visited Bretagne in the west of France with a couple of friends 3 weeks ago. We were shooting a pilot music video for a friend. I've never seen a drone and it was really exciting. The west of France is breath taking.

In Bretagne I lost my glasses. I tried to go and buy new ones but in France you need a paper from an optician to buy glasses or contact lenses. Luckily they sold me contact lenses under the counter.

I made a video about it on my Youtube-channel: MoonedBoots (and her little minions)

I'm really happy I started the channel and I'm hoping to have lot of fun while making the videos :)

What has my second first month in France been like? I'm learning to speak french all over again since I haven't been practicing for 3 years. My French family told me this week that they can hear the improvement. They told me it sound like I think in French and it's effortless. It's actually pretty accurate and I'm happy they notice it too :)

I've gained some weight. I don't know how much yet but man I love the cheese here. I can't bring myself to stop eating it! We started jogging with Sera and I'm still gaining weight so I guess it's time to cut back with the yummy stuff.

The heat is lovely. I actually enjoy it a lot more than I imagined I would. The poor dog is not at all used to it and we have changed our walking schedule accordingly. In Finland I took her out for a long walk in the afternoon but here in France we are doing it around sunset. Now when it is +20C I need a hoodie.. It's a pain. In Finland it's usually 15-20C in the summer so I'm loosing my Finnish identity pretty fast B)

Kisses and talk to you later

So much joy

Salut!

I'm making myself feel at home here in France :) I'm getting used to the idea of living here again. From time to time it doesn't even real. Then again I feel like I've been here for a really long time even though it has been 3 weeks now. I must admit I haven't been improving my French at all and I should start. Sigh.

I have a lot of time on my hands now so I decided to start making Youtube videos! I'm super excited. I had this idea the last time I was living in Paris and I feel like I'm continuing from where I left. It's like the 3 years I lived in Finland are a bad dream and I'm continuing my life from a happier place. I love every minute of my time here.

Bisous!

I did miss Paris... so now I'm back ;)

Long time no see - long time no ACB! (he he he)

I decided to start blogging again! It has been a long time since but I figured it's appropriate since I moved back to Paris :)

I moved back 2 weeks ago. I'm living at my friend's place and I'm taking care of their kids for the time being. I'm also helping them with keeping up the house and such. I've had a lot of fun with the children and my friends. I've met a lot of new people and I'm enjoying myself.

I didn't come here alone. I have a dog. Her name is Sera and she is a Labrador. She is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. She is my best friend, personal gym and positive influence to my days.

It took us 5 days to come here by train. We took a train from the north of Finland to Turku. We waited in Turku for 14 hours for the ferry. We crossed the Baltic Sea with a ferry and from Stockholm we continued on with a train.

From Stockholm we took a train to Hamburg where we spent one night. It's only 8 hours with a train from Hamburg to Paris. But this is where the things get tricky.

We were supposed to take a train to Karlsruhe and continue from there to Paris BUT we were told that we have to take a train to Köln and continue from there to Paris. No problemos off we go.

In Köln I tried to buy the tickets to Paris and they told us that we can't because the office isn't open. How cool is that. No worries. We need to take a train to Mannheim and continue from there to Paris.

The train to Mannheim was 30 minutes late. We missed the last train to Paris.

We were told that we need to travel to Offenburg and head to Strasbourg from there. We'd have to spent the night in Strasbourg and continue to Paris the next day. Cool.

We came to Paris 24 hours later than expected. But we are here! We are enjoying life!

Bisous B) I'll write to you very soon
